Universal Broadens Alliance with Channel Partner – Cope Assembly Products
Universal Instruments enhanced its customer coverage in the Eastern United States by expanding the territory of its Channel Partner, Cope Assembly Products. All customers in the mid-Atlantic US and Carolines are now enjoying support from the experienced team at Cope. This agreement extends Universal's existing partnership with Cope Assembly Products, which initially represented the company in the states of Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.

SMT Hautes Technologies Adds Advantis AC-90T, Augments Partnership with Universal
SMT Hautes Technologies has further leveraged its alliance with Universal Instruments to enhance the company's capabilities and bolster its position as a leading-edge EMS provider. SMT Hautes has purchased and Advantis® AC-90T Platform for its Montreal, Canada production facility, extending its growing Universal Instruments surface mount production portfolio. The new high-speed machine is currently achieving 3X the throughput in half the footprint of the previous equipment set.

S.W. Electronics and Manufacturing Corporation (SWEMCO), a leading global EMS provider, has purchased a Universal Instruments Genesis Platform production line. The new equipment set was complemented with Universal's Dimensions® Line Manager shop floor control software. Both are now operational in SWEMCO's Moorestown, New Jersey production facility. Since the installation in May, the company has realized a significant throughput gain of more than 10X.
