4797 HSP Turret
Established Performance
The 4797 HSP is a high speed, turret-style placement machine with an established history of reliable performance. Its technically advanced design minimizes the number of moving parts and critical axes, further improving reliability and offering higher throughput, increased productivity, and, greater machine utilization at lower manufacturing cost. This focus on simplicity makes it the most reliable, easy-to-use, and easy-to-maintain machine in its class.
The 4797 HSP places the smallest SMD passives, as well as larger components for superior line balancing. And it populates the largest board sizes of any turret-style machine at the fastest speeds in the industry, enhancing the offering to customers in telecom or high performance computing. Its extraordinary versatility provides sure protection against machine obsolescence.
The award-winning 4797-series HSP from Universal. Because high speed placement should be more than just a chipshooter.
4797B HSP – The standard for high speed placement and the base model in the 4797-series, ideally suited to production environments requiring additional feeder capacity. The most reliable, easy-to-maintain, flexible turret-style machine.
4797X HSP – Speed, simplicity, and a small footprint. Individually effective for products requiring fewer unique component part numbers. Multiple units provide a flexible, scalable alternative to traditional high volume lines, including wireless, medical, semiconductor, and other applications where manufacturing space is at a premium and volumes are on the rise.
4797L HSP – The fastest large-board machine on the market. Populates the largest PCBs (457mm x 610mm (18" x 24")) of any turret-style machine with no derating.
4797R HSP – A space-efficient solution for flexible manufacturing. The 4797R delivers the large-board capability of the 4797L, while occupying roughly half of the floorspace. This scalable solution is perfect for assembling network and telecom infrastructure products, PC motherboards, and backplanes.
