Fast, Reliable, Flexible Wafer Handling

The new integrated Wafer Feeder, developed by Universal Instruments for our platform family of machines, incorporates state-of-the-art vision processing and industry-proven approaches to the handling of wafers. The wafer feeder provides users with an optimal solution of high reliability, high speed, and flexibility. This new feeder processes wafers of various sizes, up to 300mm. Dies are shuttled inside the platform for placement onto the substrate, while the next batch of die are being extracted from the wafer. Such parallel processing provides optimum throughput. Up to 25 different wafers are processed at a given time.
